051 - Henri Fontaine

Winter Weapons - This should take us through to the middle of December, when I am looking forward to putting together another Christmas show! There's no voiceover on these particular ones but that will hopefully be returning when I've got time to go back to the more planned-out show styles of the previous submissions (this mix was literally just me plugging into the decks and seeing what came out).

Season 1 Finale

To celebrate our 50th episode (and exactly one year of silly meme mixes), LTM show residents Tom Atherton, Henri Fontaine and Dan Atherton have gone all out with a high-intensity hour of every genre imaginable - from house and techno to breaks and bassline, grime and dubstep to footwork and jungle, baltimore club to UK funky and much, much more. Featuring edits of Shakira, Eiffel 65, Post Malone, Kanye West, Lauren Hill, Pink Floyd, Kendrick Lamar, La Roux and more (as well as samples from a few iconic TV shows), this mix demonstrates everything The LTM Show has come to represent over the past year on air. This isn't the first collaborative episode, however it is the first time all three residents have collaborated together on the same show, and it was made extra special due to the fact that the team were able to see each other during the planning/recording process. Henri and Tom spent a few days together planning tunes and vibes for the show, before Henri dropped into Dan's London-based flat on his way home to record their section as a real-life back-to-back set. Think quick mixes, high intensity dance tracks and a king's ransom of ridiculous bootlegs.

Euro 2020 Special [It's Coming Home]

With our regular slot of 7PM GMT/8PM CET lining up perfectly with England's first football final since 1966, it seems only right to celebrate the occasion. We know one thing for certain - it's coming home.

Four Tet Tribute Mix

Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet has always been a huge inspiration for the show. His habit of throwing pop songs into the middle of techno sets, and his penchant for making killer remixes/bootlegs of his own, has always been a big part of the inspiration behind the LTM ethos. To pay tribute, wer've put together a mix of Four Tet songs, edits, remixes and bootlegs to show our love to the man himself. Edits inside of Destiny's Child, Ne-Yo, Grimes, Nelly Furtado, MF Doom and more - all prodiuced in some part by Four Tet.

033 - D Hux [Quarantine Vibe Check Mix]

When D Hux sat down in front of Virtual DJ on the first day of lockdown in March 2020, he had no idea of what was to come… but he knew what the people would want. In a time of despair, loss, and another Friday night on Zoom, we needed community. Humans want to dance to slammers, sing along to 90s bangers, and most importantly - vibe out together. Out of these ashes rose the Quarantine Vibe Checks… The world will change, but these tunes will always slap. Look out for yourself in 2021. It's been real (Bing Bing) !!

029 - Techno Special

Despite the "Leftfield Techno Memes" name, it comes as a surprise to many that we don't really play much traditional, 4/4 techno. This week, we're looking to change that with a techno special, dedicated to the pounding 4/4 sounds beloved by ravers across mainland Europe and beyond. This week's episode features tracks from Bored Lord, HMT Hard Cru and Blawan, as well as edits of Akon, Britney Spears, Pink and more.

DJ Slip'N'Slide

This week, we have the illusive DJ Slip'N'Slide on guest mix duties. Known for his tongue-in-cheek lo-fi edits and his penchant for old-school ghetto house tracks, DJ Slip'N'Slide prides himself on being able to take us back to 2016 through his music - a simpler time when DJ names were stupider, house edits were lazier and disco house was still moderately cool. The mix features edits of Azelia Banks, Kylie Minogue, Bell Biv DeVoe, Radiohead's Thom Yorke and more!

Across the past four months, The LTM Show has hosted a number of guest DJs, all of whom have been encouraged to showcase the silliest, memeiest tunes in their arsenal. Today we take things a step further, and invite a living, breathing meme onto the show. Pablo Moon AKA B I G D R I V E R is a gabber, harsh noise and breakcore enthusiast who really, REALLY wants you to join his 5-a-side football team. This is an hour of intense, high-octane music complete with live commentary, and is not for the faint hearted.

To celebrate the release of the upcoming LTM002 EP, the LTM team have put together a mix showcasing all 6 of the forthcoming tunes on the EP, as well as a few other meme tunes and leftfield techno favourites for good measure. LTM002 drops this Friday (4th December) on Bandcamp, and all proceeds from the sale of the EP go to UK-based charity Help Musicians, who support creatives in the music industry with grants, advice, mental health services and more. It's a time when musicians across the globe are struggling with a lack of work, so we thought what better way to help out than to release some memes and raise some funds.
