Új pénteki zenés adás indul, melyet maga a műsorkészítő, Dányi Dani így jellemez:

“Live studio mix saját lemezgyűjteményből (plusz vendégek, néhanap) és strictly vinyl. Műfajilag elég sokfelé elágazhat egy-egy válogatásom, de nagyjából a világzene-elektronika-jazz-downtempo-triphop-experimentális vonalon szeretek kalandozni. Otthoni hallgatásra céloztam, bár lehet hogy táncosabb mixek is lesznek majd – de a kiszámíthatatlanságot, a zenei változatosságot magasra értékelem.

Régóta gyűjtök zenét, iskolai és civil/közösségi rádióban is volt műsorom régebben, és sokat didzséztem, nagyrészt láthatatlanul. (A brandépítést, azt csinálja csak más…) Vinylről keverni az egyik kedvenc dolgom, hosszú szünet után pár éve újra kezdtem, a Beat On The Brat lett a törzshelyem. Ezt a felvételt utólag Audacityn szinteztem egyenletesebbre. Amúgy szövegekkel foglalkozom, műfordító vagyok.”

A new music show starts on Friday so the host, Dányi Dani gives us a description of it:

“Live studio mixes straight from my own record collection (plus the occasional guest), all strictly vinyl. My mixes can head off in all kinds of directions genre-wise, but I usually like roaming somewhere between world music, electronica, jazz, downtempo, trip-hop, and the more experimental side of things. I put this together mainly with home listening in mind, though some sets might turn out more danceable — I value unpredictability and musical variety.

I’ve been collecting music for ages. Back in the day I had shows on school and community radio, and I DJed a lot too — mostly without much visibility. (Brand-building, I’ll let others take care of that…) Mixing with vinyl is one of my favorite things; after a long break I picked it up again a few years ago, and Beat On The Brat has been my go-to spot ever since. I evened this recording out afterwards with Audacity. Outside of music, I work with words — I’m a literary translator. “
